Take a look at the progress on the yurts and the facilities.

It all started back in October when we went to picking up the yurts in the rain :-(

Even though we knew that with these views we surely would be on to a winner. Who woldn't like them?

I don't think we truly knew what we were letting ourseles in for!

The first biggest job for Gwilym was getting the yurt decks sorted out in the barn, all 21 ft in diameter...

...And then they needed to be up in the field to give us some room in the barn to make the toilets, kitchen and showering facilities!

Getting the yurt decks up in the field proved to be a mammoth task, but thnakfully we knew a man with a tractor, and there was just about enough og us to move them!

Once the decks were up work could start on making the kitchen facilities. We did not get to start on this until the beginning of March!

Man of the Moment and his Machine

Once the kitchen had been putup, we were able to lift the shower and bath sheds from out of the barn and put them up in the field. This was completed, almost at the last minute, althoguh thankflly before the weather turned wet at the beginning of April.

During the lovely spell of weather at the end of March we were able to start putting up the yurts

And after everything else had been done, and afer lots of computer research the final mammoth task was to make the tree bog (in a tree!) finished just before the site opened at Easter, although the trees were not planted until the 2nd week of April.
