So what do the insde of our yurts look like, and what do we have inside them? Take a look here to find out...

Yurt 1 is the larger blue yurt of the 3 and sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. This one is situated at the front of the field, and is closest to the car park and marginally) to the kitchen facility, whilst being the furthest from the toilets! This one is situated under the sycamore tree, with great views overlooking Hay Bluff and the valley.

This yurt has 1 full size double bed, designed by Annabelle and handmade by Gwilym of elm and walnut, chopped down from Gwilym's home farm, 1 1/2 miles away!

There are 2 full size single beds in this yurt

As well as 2 futons

There are some occasional pieces of furniture, some handmade by Gwilym and others that have been begged, borrowed, and stolen (from unsuspecting parents)!

You also have your very own woodburning stove! Enough wood, kindling and firelighters are provided to see you through your break, however more is available to purchase at £5 per wheelbarrow. An exception to his rule is we will provide extra wood free of charge if it is snowing. Alternatively, you can walk around the fields and wood and gather your own for the fire for free!

All beds have pillows and pillowcases provided, as well as a covering sheet and a blanket for each bed for the chilly nights.

The lighting is by candles, wonderfully romantic in the evenings, and there are enough telaights and candles provided to see you through your break. If you do run out, let one of us know and we can supply you with more. Please feel free to bring your own wind up lanterns or torches for extra light, especially if you wish to read after the sun has set.

All yurts have been fitted with a fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector and smoke alarm for your safety, and are checked before you come to stay with us. Unfortunately, all yurts are non smoking, and we do not allow cooking in them.
